Hydration Hack

I rarely drink enough water throughout the day and I know I'm not alone. Forget the dehydration headaches, fatigue, and dizziness; if you feel thirsty that means you're already dehydrated!


So how can we keep up with our water intake? Make your water fun and flavorful!


Infused water is tasty while still giving you all the benefits of good old H2O. All you need is a large water bottle, pitcher, or carafe, some of your favorite herbs and/or fruits, and clean, filtered water.


I like to get my water ready before I go to bed, that way the flavors have time to permeate the water and its ready to go when I get up in the morning. Some of my favorite flavor combinations are cucumber/basil, strawberry/basil, and lemon/mint. Try my flavor combos, try your own, let me know what your favorite is!




Directions:


- Wash & trim your fruit and herbs

- Add fruit and herbs to your container of choice (to taste)

- Fill with fresh, filtered water

- Store in the fridge for a cool, refreshing drink


*I like to refill my carafe with water throughout the day, that just means I'm drinking my H2O, but be sure to toss your fruit and herbs at the end of the day to start fresh!
